Enjoy an incredible foot & leg massage…choose from papaya pineapple or mango coconut lotion.  Wear a lei (color of your choice and yes you get to keep it) while sipping on a mai tai drink.  Do you feel like you’re somewhere tropical, yet?

In the past we have just sent the hair that we’ve cut into the waste stream, but now that we know that same hair can be made into hair mats to help with oil spills – we are all about doing good with your hair! Like Oprah says, “When I knew better, I did better.”

The hair is shipped to US manufacturers who weave them into mats that can soak up oil and clean our beaches and harbors. Recycled hair clippings are also made into hair “booms” which are sausage shaped. Hair is stuffed into recycled nylons (with mesh to provide a strong exterior). These booms are then tied together and used to encircle and contain oil spills to keep oil from spreading.

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 9th.   Over the years I have struggled to find the perfect gift for my mom…the one that says it all.  And, probably  like many of you I have found that hard to accomplish.
